I get an active x warning for page with slide show script in IE
Q: I just downloaded your product and set up a simple slideshow. Saved to a folder on my pc and when I loaded into chrome, only the outline of the slide was visible. IF I load in IE then I get an active x warning. Clear the warning and it runs ok. But when I am looking at the demos on your site it works fine. SO what is up?
Would like to use this but need it to run in all browsers without user configuring special permissions
A: You can get the following message "To help protect your security in IE ..."
on your local machine only.
You won't have such message when you open your website via Internet.
If you don't want to see this message you should do the following:
open Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/ and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".
Close Internet Explorer and open it once again.
There will be no such message any more.
